Scheduled turn-around for plants are becoming shorter and shorter, while time between them is getting longer.  

The risk for undesired shut down during this time is getting higher: therefore any new inspection which may be carried out without shutting plants down and not requiring high accessory costs, is very much welcome by inspection and production managers.  

Moreover, any inspection carried out before a turn-around, makes the turn-around lighter, allowing cost reduction and better scheduling.
